As leader of the Kumon account team, Elsa Maria drives two diverse aspects of the business—finding fresh ways to express to parents how life-changing Kumon can be for their kids, and developing new ways to educate and inspire prospects about starting their own Kumon Franchise.
She oversees how these ideas are carried out across TV/Radio, digital and print, landing pages—and especially in social media. As a parent of teens and former business owner, Elsa Maria is particularly adept at leveraging social media to disrupt, disarm, inform and motivate prospective parents and potential franchisees. She enjoys analyzing the performance of digital assets, and making the changes that increase performance.
Since joining Bandujo, Elsa Maria has helped distinguish Kumon in the marketplace by identifying core program benefits that go beyond math and reading—benefits parents not only want for their kids, but recognize as hard to teach on their own. Benefits that are now key to all Kumon consumer messaging.
One of her biggest “wins” came through the redesign of Kumon.com’s home page, when she led the team in identifying functional and design changes that led directly to an almost 200% jump in leads after implementation. She also drove the redesign of sections of KumonFranchise.com, implementing changes that streamlined messaging to prospective franchisees, and made enrolling in a Kumon Franchise Seminar more seamless and modern. A new digital enrollment form leveraged social media to attract more registrants for the seminar, making the Franchise Recruiters’ jobs easier.
Before joining Bandujo, Elsa Maria was National Sales Director for a manufacturer and distributer of nontoxic home and personal care products, something which fit in perfectly with her interest in disease prevention, longevity and sustainable living. In her free time, Elsa Maria plays tennis, follows politics and the economy, enjoys cooking vegetarian, and has been known to binge her share of Netflix.
